Itziar Guerrero

Itziar Guerrero studied Chemistry at the UPV-EHU (2011-2015). Since 2014, she has been involved in research tasks and has performed her undegraduate Thesis (TFG-2015) as ERASMUS student in the University of Strathclyde under the supervision of Prof. Colin Gibson working in the synthesis of pyrrolopyrimidines. Later on, she performed the Master Thesis (TFM-2016) under the supervision of Prof. J. M. Aizpurua (UPV-EHU). In March 2017, she started her PhD studies under the supervision of Dr. Arkaitz Correa, and since January 2019 is funded by the Basque Government with a predoctoral fellowship. She is currently developing novel sustainable C–H functionalization reactions for the assembly of heterocyclic containing compounds as well as oligopeptides of high structural complexity.

Markos San Segundo

Markos San Segundo studied Chemistry at the UPV-EHU (2011-2015). Since 2014, he has been involved in research tasks and has performed his undegraduate Thesis (TFG-2015) in the group of Prof. Claudio Palomo. Later on, he performed the Master Thesis (TFM-2016) under the supervision of Dr. Rosa López and Prof. Claudio Palomo (UPV-EHU), working in the field of organocatalysis. In March 2017, he started his PhD studies under the supervision of Dr. Arkaitz Correa, funded by research projects from MINECO (CTQ2016-78395-P, RTI2018-093721-B-I00) and the Basque Government (IT1033-16). He is currently developing novel sustainable C–H functionalization reactions for the late-stage diversification of oligopeptides of high structural complexity.

Paula Andrade

Paula Andrade studied Chemistry at the UPV-EHU (2011-2017). During that time, she has completed an internship in a Theoretical Chemistry laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Jon M. Matxain, and she did the undegraduate Thesis (TFG-2017) guided by Prof. Iñaki Ganboa, working in the field of organocatalysis. She is currently doing the Master Thesis under the supervision of Dr. Arkaitz Correa and Dr. Jon M. Matxain working on a project based on the development of sustainable methodologies for the modification of amino acid derivatives. In September 2019, she will start her PhD funded by the project RTI2018-093721-B-I00 and guided by Dr. Correa and Dr. Matxain. She will develop novel sustainable peptide modifications based on both experimental and computational studies.

  • Gradua amaitu baduzu eta Kimika Organikoko ikerketak nola funtzionatzen duen ikasi nahi baduzu, Masterra egin dezakezu.   • Gradua edo masterra amaitzen ari bazara, eta Kimika Organometalikoa esparruaren barruan doktoretza-tesi bat egiteko interesa baduzu, jarri nirekin harremanetan. Doktoretza-tesia gutxi gorabehera 3-4 urte irauten duen ikerketa-proiektu bat da, eta hura amaitzean Kimikako Doktore gradua lortzen da.
