The Department of Applied Economics V of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU and the Cambridge Centre for Economic and Public Policy, Department of Land Economy, of the University of Cambridge, are organizing the 13th International Conference Developments in Economic Theory and Policy. The Conference will be held in Bilbao (Spain), the days 23rd and 24th of June 2016.

Although papers on all areas of economics are welcome, there will be two Special Sessions with Invited Speakers on the topics of "Housing Markets" and "Financial Liberalisation: Past, Present and Future".

Besides this Special Session, there will be three Keynote Speakers: Professor Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira (Professor Emérito da Fundação Getúlio Vargas), Professor Santiago Carbo-Valverde (Bangor University) and Professor Irene van Staveren (Erasmus University Rotterdam).
