Introducción

TSR (Tratamiento de la Señal y Radiocomunicaciones/Signal Processing and Radiocommunications) es un grupo de investigación de la UPV/EHU (Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea) cuya sede se encuentra en la Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao.

Aunque se creó en el Dpto. de Ingeniería de Comunicaciones actualmente el grupo está formado por personal de 4 departamentos: Dpto. de Ingeniería de Comunicaciones, Dpto. de Matemática Aplicada, Dpto. de Lenguajes y Sistemas Informáticos y Dpto. de Tecnología Electrónica.

En 2007, el Gobierno Vasco nos otorgó el reconocimiento como Grupo A (excelente), distinción que hemos mantenido desde entonces.

CFAA: Centro de Fabricación Avanzada Aeronáutica (Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center)

The Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center (CFAA) was created as a new model of relationship between different research levels and nowadays industry applications. This center was promoted and funded by the Department of Economy development and Infrastructure of the Basque Country Government, Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the launching was supported by the frame of the Technological and Scientific Park of Bizkaia. This Center is built as a mixed research center within the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and a consortium of companies, the aim is to work towards final applications and to generate new know-how in advanced manufacturing technologies.
