Natural Resources and Environmental Economics

This research line includes two different sub-lines on the study of environmental issues in economics. A brief description of each follows, as well as the researchers working on it and their most recent research papers:

  • Fisheries Management. The objective of this research line is to characterize optimal management policies in the exploitation of the fisheries resources. [ + ]

  • Natural Resources, Properties Rights and Development. Our research program uses general equilibrium models and numerical techniques to describe economies with natural resources and characterize policies leading to optimal allocation of the resources between alternative activities. [ + ]
