Mountains & Law: from natural risk towards the nature of the risk

July 25th, 2012

Within this blog we would like to open a global path for global discussion and exchange on the different issues involved with Mountains & Law. The issue of eventual liability, risk and insurance within risky activities in mountains is a growing concern for legal practitioners, mountaineering federations, guides and public administrations. In this general context, the debate opened in the Basque Country concerning the payment or tax for mountain rescues isonly an example to be consider. Environmental Law & liability, and also Administrative Liability  are issues to be analysed at domestic and international levels
