We are interested in the evolution of human skin pigmentation and its relationship to melanoma

We pursue the identification of genes that are subject to the effect of natural selection and how these are related to melananoma risk

At present, we are investigating the effect of the skin microbiota dynamics under UV radiation

And we are also investigating tumor heterogeneity (melanoma and others) by means of Spatial Trasncritomics
