The Vice-Rectorate responsible for Coordination and International Relations at the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country and the Euskampus Foundation have launched the EHUwelcome app for foreign students. The app will inform international students about the university’s various services, accommodation on the three campuses, transport services, Spanish and Basque language courses and basic information about the country.

The app can be accessed on Android and iOS:

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ehu.erasmus&hl=en_US

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/es/app/ehuwelcome/id1271114217

“This app is easy to use and provides the students with essential information to help them become acquainted with and get around their new place of study,” explained M. Juncal Gutiérrez-Mangado, head of the UPV/EHU’s mobility programmes.

3,500 international students

The UPV/EHU has over 1,100 mobility agreements with universities in more than 50 countries across the world and 3,500 international students will be studying at the UPV/EHU during this academic year 2019/20.

As Igor Campillo, Executive Director of the Euskampus Foundation, pointed out, “this App is a living tool designed to improve the welcome of foreign students at the UPV/EHU and their integration, and to boost the university’s international profile”.
