Irakasgaiaren Azalpena eta Testuingurua zehazteaToggle Navigation

In the global economy, managers and executives must learn how to deal with the recent explosion of digital data (big data) in order to know more and better about their businesses, and in doing so, make the right decisions about innovation, competition and productivity.

Therefore, this subject tries to explain the integrated information systems needed by companies and to train the students, giving them the skills they need to use the different computer tools available.

At the same time, the student must understand the importance of digital transformation in the current changing socioeconomic context; a transformation that consists of the continuous reorientation of the entire organization towards a more efficient and competent business model. Moreover, within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and to facilitate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this digital transformation must be sustainable.

MetodologiaToggle Navigation

The teaching methodology of the subject will be based on the ordered explanation of systematized knowledge in an interactive way, promoting student participation in the construction and understanding of theoretical concepts. Likewise, this teaching modality is intended for students to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and exercise the skills of the subject in solving practical cases on computers or problems related to its content. Students must solve the proposed activities individually or in work groups and, in some cases, by applying active methodologies, using various computer tools.

Likewise, eGela will be used as a support platform for teaching where, among other things, the material used throughout the course will be available (course program, practical cases, tasks, etc.).

Finally, the described methodology is based on tutorials, in which students have weekly hours with teachers to guide them in their learning processes.

EVALUATION SYSTEM

(The tools and grade percentages vary according to the call and evaluation modality. See student guide)

Given the exceptional and unpredictable circumstances in which the “new normality” is going to develop (following the recommendations of EHU edonondik and EHU edonondik / ebaluazioa that are still in force in this period of “new normality”), this course bets on an approach of mostly continuous assessment so that there will be different tests, deliverables and exercises that are administered throughout the school period and that enable sequenced assessment of learning.

A) CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT:

- Monitoring and control throughout the semester through assimilation exercises, deliverables and / or assessment tests: 70%

- Theoretical / practical exam: 30%

B) FINAL EVALUATION:

- Theoretical exam: 30%

- Practical exam: 70%

GENERAL NOTES:

- The student who wishes to be evaluated through the final evaluation system (100%) must submit in writing to the teacher of the subject, the waiver of the continuous evaluation, for which you will have a period of 9 weeks to count from the beginning of the term.

- The student may waive the ordinary call by not taking any part of the exam (theoretical or practical).

NOTES ON THE CONTINUOUS EVALUATION:

- In the evaluation exercises you must obtain at least 2 points (out of the 7 points in this practical part) to calculate the final grade for the course. If the established minimum is not reached, the whole subject is suspended.

- The exam must obtain at least 1 point (out of the 3 exam points) to calculate the final grade for the course. If the established minimum is not reached, the whole subject is failed.

- If the minimum is not reached in any of the two parts, the final grade will be failed. In the Minutes the grade of the exam will be included where it did not reach the established minimum.

NOTES ON THE FINAL EVALUATION:

- In the theoretical exam you must obtain at least 1 point (out of the 3 points of the theoretical exam) to calculate the final grade for the course. If the established minimum is not reached, the whole subject is failed.

- In the practical exam you must obtain at least 2 points (out of the 7 points of the practical exam) to calculate the final grade for the course. If the established minimum is not reached, the whole subject is failed.

- If the minimum is not reached in any of the two parts, the final grade will be failed. In the Minutes the grade of the exam will be included where the established minimum was not reached.
