This advanced course is offered in the second term of the Master’s programme. It builds on the skills developed in the Fundamentals course offered in the first term. The course places a particular emphasis on the conceptual and empirical developments that have led to current Minimalist theorizing, with special reference to other areas of Cognitive Science.Irakasleak

- To summarise the evidence and analyses of proposals in natural language syntax and morphology discussed in the course.- To apply those analyses to novel data.
- To critically compare and evaluate those proposals.
Ohiko deialdia: orientazioak eta uko egitea
The evaluation will be based on 4 exercise sets assigned throughout the course. Each set is worth 25% of the final grade. Students will have opportunities to discuss the exercises in class and to resubmit the exercises after receiving feedback.As a continuous evaluation course, students who have completed 25% of the exercises cannot withdraw from the first call.
