PRAXIS was officially established as a research group in 1996. Since then, PRAXIS has been recognized as a “Consolidated Research Group” (Basque Government; University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU).

PRAXIS’s research is situated at the intersection of philosophy of science and technology, science, technology and innovation studies, and political epistemology, while encompassing work in critical continental philosophy, analytic metaphysics, and the history of science.

Our research group regularly hosts visiting researchers and PhD students whose work aligns with the group’s main research interests.
