The recent semiconductor shortage and changes in global political relations have significantly altered the European roadmap for semiconductors and chip design. In this journey, open-source chip design tools are essential for the European renaissance of chip design education and innovation. In this course, you will acquire basic skills in digital integrated circuit design through the use of these tools, laying the foundation for your professional future in the emerging field of microelectronics.

Introduction to CMOS technology.

FOSS EDA tools for digital integrated circuit design.

Design case study: from RTL to tape-out.

REQUIREMENTS

Be currently enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate degree with content on electronic systems or demonstrate experience in digital systems design.
