On 3 April 2024, the representatives of Quantum+ (https://quantum-plus.eu/) European Project visited SoC4sensing Aula Chip at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao (University of the Basque Country).  

The European QUANTUM+ project aims to design an innovative training itinerary aimed at higher education students, teachers, professionals, and managers of technology-based companies to train them in quantum technologies. 

The itinerary will include issues related to the fundamentals and possible applications of quantum technologies and other fundamental aspects of quantum physics and quantum computing. The aim is to improve their employability and equip them with crucial skills for future technological challenges due to the growing workforce demand for quantum technologies. 

During this meeting, we had the opportunity to introduce the ongoing projects related to Quantum technologies that we are developing at SoC4sening Chair. Specifically, the implementation of Quantum Instrumentation Equipment based on RFSoC technology and the development of a wired networking solution for the Quantum Networks control layer were presented.
