Architect by the Superior Technical School of Architecture (ETSASS-UPV / EHU, 2010) with his Final Project been selected at the Spanish Architecture and Town Planning Biennial XI. 1st generation of the master’s degree in Refurbishment and Integral Management of the Built Heritage (2011) and PhD in Architecture, Urbanism and Heritage by the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU, 2017). Lecturer and researcher in the Department of Architecture (2012-2016), where he has worked as an associate professor during the period 2011-2014, in both, the aforementioned Master's Degree and in the Chair 5th grade projects. Hosted Researcher in the Urban Studies Department of Malmö University (Sweden, 2014). He has been a part of the Steering Committee and the Permanent Council of the Master and Doctoral School (eMD-UPV / EHU, 2015-2017) as a representative of Master and PhD students by the Engineering and Architecture branch, integrating, among others, the organs Quality Committee.
In September 2016 he joined the Graphic Expression and Engineering Projects Department of the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao (UPV / EHU), where he currently teaches. He is, since 2015, member of the Built Heritage Research Group GPAC (IT-890-16), which is recognized, by the Ministry of Education, Linguistic Policy and Culture of the Basque Government, as Research Group A of the Basque University System (2016-2021), as well as member of the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Landscapes and Heritage.
