Graduate (1996) and Doctor (2003) in Chemical Sciences from the UPV/EHU. She usually teaches the subjects Kimika Orokorra I and Farmaziaren Intereseko Produktu Organikoak Chemistry Degree, “Laborategiko Oinarrizko Eragiketak Chemical Engineering Degree, Kimika and Organic Synthesis in Biosciences Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Degrees. She also teaches in the Master's Degree in Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry and in the Master's Degree in Environment, Sustainability and SDGs.
In 1996, she joined the group of Organometallics in Synthesis as a PhD researcher. She has participated in projects related to the organolithium reagents in synthesis of nitrogen heterocycles research line. The research derived from her doctoral thesis focused on organolithium reagents in asymmetric synthesis. In recent years, she has also focused her research in the field of chemo informatics, designing predictive computer models focused on improving the results in organic synthesis and searching for compounds with pharmacological activities.
She has participated in numerous research projects and the result of her work is collected in the direction of Master's Final Projects, Final Degree Projects, communications to congresses and research articles published in indexed journals.
