Penn Stationera iritsi nintzenean egin nuen lehen gauza telefono-kabina batean sartzea izan zen.

Lo primero que hice al llegar a la Estaci?n de Pennsylvania fue meterme en una cabina telef?nica.

La premi?re chose que j'ai faite en d?barquant ? Penn Station, ?a a ?t? d'entrer dans une cabine t?l?phonique.

THE FIRST THING I did when I got off at Penn Station, I went into this phone booth.

Telefonoa jo nahi nion baten bati.

Ten?a ganas de llamar a alguien.

J'avais envie de donner un coup de bigo ? quelqu'un.

I felt like giving somebody a buzz.

Maletak kabinaren kanpoaldean utzi nituen, ondo ikusteko moduan, baina sartu bezain laster, ezin inor gogora ekarri.

Dej? las maletas a la puerta para poder vigilarlas y entr?, pero tan pronto como estuve dentro no supe a qui?n llamar.

J'ai laiss? mes bagages dehors, en m'arrangeant pour pouvoir les surveiller. Mais ? peine j'?tais ? l'int?rieur, je me suis demand? qui je pourrais bien appeler.

I left my bags right outside the booth so that I could watch them, but as soon as I was inside, I couldn't think of anybody to call up.

Luego, se me ocurri? llamar a la madre de Jane Gallaher para preguntarle cu?ndo llegaba su hija a Nueva York, pero de pronto se me quitaron las ganas.

Ensuite j'ai voulu passer un coup de fil ? la m?re de Jane Gallagher, pour savoir quand Jane ?tait en vacances, mais non, ?a me disait rien.

Then I thought of giving Jane Gallagher's mother a buzz, and find out when Jane's vacation started, but I didn't feel like it.

Then I thought of calling up this guy that went to the Whooton School when I was there, Carl Luce, but I didn't like him much.

So I ended up not calling anybody.

I came out of the booth, after about twenty minutes or so, and got my bags and walked over to that tunnel where the cabs are and got a cab.

I hate saying corny things like "traveling incognito." But when I'm with somebody that's corny, I always act corny too.
