Apart from the academic offer, the program includes cultural activities and several visits to emblematic places in the Basque Country which will allow you to get to know some of the most striking aspects of our country.

You will get to know cities like Gernika, which has been for centuries the venue for assemblies of representatives of the towns and villages of Bizkaia beneath the now famous oak tree, or Bilbao, an example of the successful fusion of tradition and modernity. From its 7 streets (the medieval heart of the city) to the vanguard architecture of the Guggenheim Museum, this city, with its strong personality, provides us with extensive cultural, gastronomic and leisure activities for all tastes.

You will visit San Telmo Museum, located right in the Old Quarter of Donostia, which has been transformed into the Museum of Basque Society and Citizenship, and which offers a novel perspective on our society. The archaeological, ethnographic, document and artistic collections in the museum are accompanied by audio-visual resources by the best artists in the Basque Country today and an ambitious program of activities.

You will get to know the Flysh rock formations in the Basque Coast Geopark by boat which departs from the coastal city of Zumaia, and discover the geological landscape that preserves the history of some of the most dramatic episodes in the Earth’s recent history.

Both transport and the cost of the arranged visits are included in the course fee.

The organization reserves the right to make changes to the dates or the destinations of the planned visits owing to weather reasons or reasons outside its control, and always with the students' safety in mind.
