On May 13th, the Rector of the University of the Basque Country published a new resolution by which the resolution published on April 27th is modified and new conditions of access to educational centers, facilities and laboratories are established. Of special interest for those of you who are still in the Basque Country, is the following:

“Likewise, upon reasoned request, the students residing in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, will be able to access the UPV/EHU educational centers to carry out administrative procedures that cannot be postponed which cannot be solved in person. For the purposes of this resolution, access for the collection of teaching material necessary for the performance of assessment tests will constitute administrative management of a non-deferrable nature.

The requests will be addressed to the Directors or Deans of the corresponding centers, which will be the competent bodies to resolve, through urgent processing. Access will be made once authorization has been obtained, by prior appointment, in the terms and conditions established therein, and with due observance of the preventive measures in force regarding health and safety, in particular, those related to disinfection and corresponding conditioning, and distance of at least 2 meters between people.”
