Description

In the present situation, the "General Service for Analytical Microscopy and High Resolution in Medicine" is going to offer an online course, totally free, focused on learning the ImageJ / FIJI software.

The course is aimed at the entire UPV / EHU research community that works in the area of ​​life science microscopy. It will be an adaptation of the "Practical Course on Digital Imaging in Microscopy in Biomedicine", which is part of the training offer of the General Research Services (SGIker).

The UPV/EHU Bilerak (BlackBoard Collaborate) virtual meeting platform, which is part of the EHU Edonondik response to the current health emergency, will be used.

To participate, you only need to have a personal computer with an internet connection, and have time and desire.

The course will take place from Monday, March 30 to Friday, April 3, with an estimated duration of 2 hours per day (if necessary, its date and duration can be modified). The content of the course will be eminently practical. It will be taught by Ricardo Andrade (service technician) and Ignacio Arganda-Carreras (Ikerbasque Researcher from the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and one of the developers of the FIJI program).
