The Elemental Analysis Unit SCAB has passed for the second consecutive year, the number of 3000 elemental analyzes performed on 2013. Knowledge of CHNSO% is very helpful for researchers in structural knowledge in materials and synthetic organic compounds and for the determination of environmental parameters of great importance like C/N in soils and plants. It has also been widely used by energy companies to discern possible use as an energy source of various industrial, urban and agro waste.
