The SCAB signs a collaboration agreement with the R & D Meat Industry Association of Rioja (ASICAR)

On July 23 ASICAR entity belonging to the consortium of the Innovation Centre of the meat industry in La Rioja (CTIC-CITA), has signed a collaboration agreement with the SCAB in 2014 to study the preservation of meat beef in refrigerated containers. This study will be conducted in the SCAB using the technique of solid phase microextraction in headspace gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry detector (HS-SPME-GC / MS). This agreement may be renewed or extended for 2015.
