December 21st, 2012 took place the Awards ceremony of IV Scientific Photography contest organized by SGIker in the Conference room of the UPV / EHU.

At the event, Egido Nora Perez and Naiara Ortuzar Markez researchers, authors of images " Todos al agua" and " Llamaradas" were awarded in the modalities of Science and Technology of Materials and Life Sciences respectively. Under the chairmanship of the Acting Vice President for Research, Miguel Angel Gutierrez, Director of General Research Services, Maribel Arriortua, and Professor Juan Miguel Martínez Aréchaga, when handing them their prize, it was highlighted the technical quality of the winning photographs as well as the increasing participation by the university community.
