During May 28th and 29th it will be held at the Bizkaia Aretoa of the UPV/EHU, the meeting for discussion of the results of the 18th proficiency testing on organic elemental analysis (18 AEO). This event, organized by the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Barcelona, Laboratory of Elemental Microanalysis of Centers for Research Support (CAI) of the Complutense University of Madrid and the Centre for Energy, Environment and Technology (CIEMAT ) of Madrid, brings together the participation of more than 45 domestic and foreign laboratories specializing in organic elemental analysis (CHNSO). Last 4 editions, the Central Analysis Service of Bizkaia (SCAB) of SGIker, participates in this exercise as a measure of contrast needed to maintain the accreditation of ISO 17025 in this type of analysis.

This year, the UPV/EHU through SGIker, is hosting this event in which in addition to the discussion of results, participants can enjoy presentations by several participants in this event as well as workshops with the major improvements in this field of analytic taught by the sponsoring business houses.
