The Singular Multispectroscopy Laboratory (RAMAN) of the General Research Services, SGIker has renewed the Q-epea certification granted by the Basque Foundation for Excellence, Euskalit. The act of delivery of this seal of quality was held on Friday, November 15th at the Santa María Building of the Gipuzkoa Campus of the UPV/EHU.

The certified scientific infrastructure has a letter of services that meets the requirements in advanced management required by Euskalit, so it will remain in force during the period 2019-2021. The letter of services is a document that informs the public and the users of the services it offers, the rights that assist them and the quality commitments acquired.

In this way, the aforementioned laboratory of the SGIker of the UPV/EHU continues to meet the objectives for the improvement, innovation and sustainable development promoted by Euskalit in Basque organizations. With the renewal of the Q-epea certificate, the improvement in quality management is guaranteed in a laboratory whose ultimate goal is to offer maximum confidence to all users and organizations that request their services.

This laboratory has a highly qualified staff that uses photonic techniques, for  generation and control of light to analyze the physical and chemical structure of organic and inorganic compounds in a non-destructive or invasive way.
