First publication date: 12/06/2025
After two days of presentations, debates, and discussion of results among the various participating laboratories, the meeting to discuss the results of the intercomparison exercise for organic elemental analysis and isotopic analysis (28 AEO) concluded on Friday, June 6. Thirty-three of the 36 participating laboratories attended this meeting in person, making it one of the largest in recent editions of this program. Laboratory attendees, as well as students from the Faculty of Science and Technology, were able to enjoy talks on organic elemental and isotopic analysis, as well as the importance of proficiency testing. The evaluation carried out by both the participating laboratories and the event's sponsoring companies, as well as the organizing committee of the University of Barcelona, was highly satisfactory.
The SCAB would like to express its gratitude to the General Research Services (SGIker) and the Vice-Rectorate of the Bizkaia Campus and Communications of the EHU for their support in organizing conferences, workshops, and university outreach activities.
