This new equipment has been financed by the European Union with €1.5 million and will provide service to the university community and other agents of the Basque scientific system.

Yesterday, 05/20/2024, this new infrastructure was presented, in an event that took place in the Martina Casiano building, in the Leioa-Erandio Area of the Bizkaia Campus of the UPV/EHU. The rector Eva Ferreira was present; the vice-rector for Research, Inma Arostegui; the director of SGIker, Itziar Alkorta Calvo, and the technicians responsible for the use of this equipment, Leire Sanfelices and Aitor Larrañaga.

This infrastructure will provide service to the entire university community and also to other scientific-technological agents, both public and private.
