AimsToggle Navigation

1.- To know the basics of anatomy and embryology for pharmacists and nutricionists.

2.- To know the structure and function of the human body at different stages of life.

3.- To assimilate the specific language of Human Anatomy normally used in a professional context.

4.- To describe the developmental changes from the zygote stage to the morphological consolidation of the human body.

5.- To analyze the anatomical organization of the human body and to appreciate the interrelationship of organs and systems.

6.- To locate and identify anatomical structures and their topographical relations, both on

anatomical models and on variety of common imaging modalities.

7.- To acquire an overall view of the human body, with special emphasis on those involved in regulating and integrating somatic and vegetative functions.

8.- To correlate the relationship between structure and function, mainly focusing on the systems involved in absorption, transport, metabolism and elimination of drugs and their metabolites.

9.- To develop a positive attitude to Anatomy by rigorous and systematic habits of self-learning and self-assessment.

Assessment systemsToggle Navigation

1. MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST about the contents addressed in lectures (L) and classroom practices (CP). It will consist of 60 questions with five options with only one correct answer. 36 hits are needed to get a score of 5 (out of 10), with no penalties for incorrect answers. The rest of equivalences between hits and scores are shown in the informative panel of the Department of Neurosciences.



1. SHORT QUESTIONS to be answered in less than half a sheet about the contents addressed in teaching modalities L and CP. The total score corresponding to this exercise will be 10 point (2 points/question) and its impact on the score of the test will be as follows:0 = -1 point, 1 = -0.8, 2 = -0.6, 3 = -0.4, 4 = -0.2, 5 = no impact, 6 = +0.2, 7= +0.4, 8 = +0.6, 9 = +0.8, 10 = +1



3. PRACTICAL EXAM

Students must be able to recognize anatomical structures in anatomical images and anatomical models used mainly in laboratory practices. The exercise can be written or oral. The practical exam will be considered for the average mark only in case of obtaining a score of at least 4.5 in the multiple choice test (including the impact of short questions).



4. CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT

The following aspects will be taken into account:

- Attendance to and participation in CP and laboratory practices (LP).

- Completion of the tasks proposed by the teacher(s).



Final score: (Theoretical x 0,72) + (Practical x 0,23) + (Continuous assesment x 0,05)



ADDITIONAL NOTES

- It is required a minimum score of 4.5 in all the exercises to pass the full exam, unless the mean score is over 5.

- Continuous assessment requires 75% attendance in all teaching modalities. Teachers reserve the right to assess those students who do not meet this requirement with a SPECIFIC EXAM.
