About me

June holds a degree in chemistry and a master's degree in pharmacology, both from the UPV/EHU. Currently, she is conducting her PhD research at the department of pharmacology of the UPV/EHU in collaboration with the company IMG Pharma Biotech.

Her project investigates the relationship between Parkinson's disease and the immune system, specifically focusing on the presence of reactive antibodies against different brain regions. To achieve this, she utilizes the microarray technology developed by IMG Pharma Biotech, which enables the immobilization of various proteins and tissues of interest. This approach allows for the comparison and detection of serological biomarkers.
