Researcher

Mechanical Engineer and MSc in mechanical engineering by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Doctoral Thesis focused on developing a time-domain wear model for corrugation prediction.
She is currently a researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering of Bilbao.
She has participated in several national and international projects and contributed to national and international scientific conferences transport research conference. Other contributions include 2 JCR publications and an intellectual property right (OptiTRAIN – Optimized TRack-wheelset INteraction model).
She has just received the first prize in the TRA VISIONS 2024 Young Researcher Competition in Rail Category at a prestigious awards ceremony during the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024 event on Monday, April 15 in Dublin.
