The mission of Euskampus Fundazioa is therefore to design, coordinate and executive measures that, with the collaboration of all its partners, consolidate and accelerate this internationalisation and modernisation process of the University of the Basque Country – EuskalHerrikoUnibertsitatea by means of the implementation of the Euskampus project.

Euskampus Fundazioa works in different areas:

• Knowledge hubs, skills alliances around the major challenges proposed in the Euskampus areas of specialisation: Collaborative research, teaching and transfer of knowledge.

• Cross-border Euroregional Campus of Excellence, together with Bordeaux University, a shared academic space between both universities and their partners. It fosters encounter, mobility and exchange of academic staff, researchers and students.

• Other excellence initiatives, such as participating in international projects, the Master's and Doctorate School, actions with the students, Society-University Chairs, scientific dissemination, etc.
