LOURDES PEREZ MANZANO

Telecommunications Engineer in 2002 and PhD in Photonic and Electronic Technologies in 2010, both from the UPV/EHU. She started working as a final project student under the direction of Juan Carlos Jimeno, at the Technological Institute of Microelectronics, TiM, in 2001. Since 2002 she became a predoctoral fellow in that institute, participating in different research projects subsidized by public entities of regional, state and European scope. During the 2003-2007 period, she was a FPI intern by the Ministry of Science and Technology for the BIMUDEL project. Her research work focused on the contribution to the manufacture of thin bifacial solar cells, in order to reduce costs and increase efficiency at an industrial level. In 2010 she obtained a partial position as Interim Labor Professor at the UPV / EHU, Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (currently, Electronic Technology); going to full in 2016. Currently, she works as a bilingual teacher (with accreditation for teaching in Basque and English since 2012), mainly teaching two subjects: Industrial Electronics in the Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Electronics and Automatic Engineering; and, Electronic Devices and Circuits, in the Degree in Telecommunication Technology Engineering.
