Bio

I graduated in Theoretical Physics at the University of London (Royal Holloway College) and later completed a PhD on causal inference in quantum mechanics at the University of the Basque Country, UPV-EHU.

Right now I am back as a research fellow at the University of the Basque Country, UPV-EHU, where I lead a new research project on computer simulations and scientific representation applied to climate change models.

My research interests include causal inference in genuinely indeterministic contexts in general, and quantum mechanics in particular. More specifically, I have recently focused on the relation between causality and locality (or non-locality) in quantum mechanics.

Lately I have become interested in the philosophy of computer simulations and scientific representation. At the moment I lead the research project "Climate Change Models and Simulations as Interventive Representations: Uncertainty, Evidence and Confirmation" funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiviness (MINECO).
