Euskal Filologian lizentziatu nintzen 1999. urtean, eta 2003. urtean Hizkuntzalaritza masterra amaitu nuen UPV/EHUko Letren Fakultatean. 2000. urtean Eusko Jaurlaritzako doktore aurreko beka batekin Ciència Cognitiva i Llenguatge doktorego programan eman nuen izena Universitat de Barcelona-n. Bertan, 2006. urtean doktoretza eskuratu nuen Lexical representation and selection in bilingual speech production tesiarekin. 2006an bertan, Espainiako gobernuko doktore ondoko beka bat lortu eta Edinburgora joan nintzen University of Edinburgh-eko Psikologia saileko Language Cognition and Communication ikerketa taldean lan egitera. 2007an Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship bat lortu nuen Martin J. Pickering ikerlariarekin lan egiteko (University of Edinburgh). 2010. urtetik Euskal Herriko Unibertsitateko Hizkuntzalaritza eta Euskal Ikasketak saileko Gogo Elebiduna ikertaldean egiten dut lan, 2010-2013 bitartean Juan de la Cierva ikerlari bezala, 2013tik 2014ko urria bitartean Ikerlari kontratatua bezala, eta 2014ko azarotik aurrera Ramón y Cajal ikerlari bezala.. IKERKETA INTERESAK

Hizkuntzaren ekoizpenean parte hartzen duten mekanismo kognitiboak ikertzen ditut, nire ikerlerro nagusiak hauek direlarik:

  1. Hiztun elebakar zein elebidunen egitura sintaktikoen ekoizpen zein ulermen prozesuak.
  2. Hiztun elebidunen hizkuntza aukeraketa mekanismoak.

Alor hauek hainbat metodo esperimentalen bitartez ikertzen ditut, hauen artean metodo konduktualak (e.g., erantzute denborak, hizkuntza akatsak) eta neurofisiologikoak (e.g., gertaerei loturiko potentzialak, ERP-ak).
