Doctor in Anthropology, Associate Professor of the UPV / EHU in the Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Anthropology, where I have been Vice-Dean of Academic Organization, I am currently the director of the Department of Philosophy of Values and Social Anthropology. I teach in the Degree, in the University Master of Social Anthropology. I am part of the MHLI Consolidated Research Group (IT 806-13, Basque Government). I have participated in different research projects of social anthropology, in recent years related to the Anthropology of fisheries and memory. In these areas, we must highlight the issues related to the biographical perspective and the testimonies. I am a member of the Mikel Laboa University Chair and the manager for the Mikel Laboa book collection, published by the Editorial of the UPV / EHU. I has coordinated, in collaboration with other people, the preparation of the first anthropology dictionary in the Basque language.
