A Space for Co-Creation – OH Living Lab Gorliz-Plentzia

We have created an open innovation space that promotes holistic health by connecting the human, animal, and environmental spheres. This space is known as a living lab—a real-world laboratory for experimentation and collaboration.

From the HOBE and BlueAdapt projects, the PiE-UPV/EHU, together with the JRL and BC3, organizes events to strengthen this initiative. In a recent gathering at the Plentzia Marine Station, a dozen organizations came together to co-create participatory solutions to the health challenges facing the estuary. This pioneering initiative in the Basque Country fosters dialogue between science, institutions, and the community, reinforcing the local commitment to the One Health approach.
