Jorge Virto Moreno is Associate Professor of Econometrics at the Department of Econometrics and Statistics of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) where he lectures on Econometrics and Statistics.
His main research topics and publications in international scientific journals include contributions on business cycle analysis, on the study of the efficacy and safety of different treatments in transplant patients as well as on the economic valuation of natural resources.
He is one of the researchers of the Basque University partner in the MOSES consortium.
He has also authored several books on the theory and practice of Statistics.
