I humble myself before thee, sacred Santon, and prostrate myself upon the earth: I regard the prints of thy footsteps as the apple of my eye.

Eskubide publikoaz ez dut inoiz hitz egiten entzun Gizarteen etorkia zehatz-mehatz aztertzen hasi gabe, irrigarri iruditzen zaidana.

Siempre que he o?do hablar de derecho p?blico, he visto que comenzaban investigando atentamente cu?l era el origen de las sociedades, cosa que me parece ridicula.

Je n'ai jamais ou? parler du droit public, qu'on n'ait commenc? par rechercher soigneusement quelle est l'origine des soci?t?s; ce qui me para?t ridicule.

I never heard any body talk of the law of nations, but he carefully begun with inquiring into the origin of society; which appears ridiculous to me.
