So the king answered and said, "Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she [is] his mother."

Israel osoak jakin zuen erregearen erabakiaren berri, eta ordudanik begirune handia izan zioten, zuzen epai zezan Jainkoak nolako jakinduria eman zion ikusirik.

Todo Israel oy? aquel juicio que hab?a pronunciado el rey, y temieron al rey, pues vieron que Dios le hab?a dado sabidur?a para juzgar.

Tout Isra?l apprit le jugement que le roi avait prononc?. Et l'on craignit le roi, car on vit que la sagesse de Dieu ?tait en lui pour le diriger dans ses jugements.

And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God [was] in him to administer justice.

Salomon Israel osoko errege zen.

So King Solomon was king over all Israel.

And Solomon had twelve governors over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household; each one made provision for one month of the year.

Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, [in] the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan. [He was] the only governor who [was] in the land.

Juda eta Israelgo jendea itsasertzeko hondarra bezain ugaria zen. Bazuten jan-edaririk aski eta pozik bizi ziren.

Jud? e Israel eran tan numerosos como la arena que est? junto al mar, y todos com?an, beb?an y se alegraban.

Judah and Israel [were] as numerous as the sand by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing.

So Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the River [to] the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. [They] brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

Now Solomon's provision for one day was thirty kors of fine flour, sixty kors of meal,

Il dominait sur tout le pays de l'autre c?t? du fleuve, depuis Thiphsach jusqu'? Gaza, sur tous les rois de l'autre c?t? du fleuve. Et il avait la paix de tous les c?t?s alentour.

For he had dominion over all [the region] on this side of the River from Tiphsah even to Gaza, namely over all the kings on this side of the River; and he had peace on every side all around him.

Salomonen bizitza osoan lasai bizi izan ziren Juda eta Israelgo guztiak, nor bere mahatsondo edota pikuondoaren itzalean.

And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

And these governors, each man in his month, provided food for King Solomon and for all who came to King Solomon's table. There was no lack in their supply.

They also brought barley and straw to the proper place, for the horses and steeds, each man according to his charge.

Jainkoak jakinduria eta zuhurtzia handia eman zizkion Salomoni, bai eta itsasertzeko hondartza bezainbateko jakite zabala ere.

Dios dio a Salom?n sabidur?a y prudencia muy grandes, y tan dilatado coraz?n como la arena que est? a la orilla del mar.

Dieu donna ? Salomon de la sagesse, une tr?s grande intelligence, et des connaissances multipli?es comme le sable qui est au bord de la mer.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.

Salomonen jakinduria ekialdekoena eta egiptoarrena baino handiagoa izan zen,

Era mayor la sabidur?a de Salom?n que la de todos los orientales y que toda la sabidur?a de los egipcios.

La sagesse de Salomon surpassait la sagesse de tous les fils de l'Orient et toute la sagesse des ?gyptiens.

Thus Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt.

gizonetan jakintsuena izan baitzen: Etam ezratarra, Mahol-en seme Heman, Kalkol eta Darda baino jakintsuago. Salomonen izena inguruetako lurralde guztietan zabaldu zen.

For he was wiser than all men -- than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.

Hiru mila esaera atera zituen, eta mila eta bost kantika.

Compuso tres mil proverbios, y sus cantares fueron mil cinco.

He spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were one thousand and five.

Il a parl? sur les arbres, depuis le c?dre du Liban jusqu'? l'hysope qui sort de la muraille; il a aussi parl? sur les animaux, sur les oiseaux, sur les reptiles et sur les poissons.

Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish.

Salomonen jakinduriaren berri izan zuten herrialde eta erresuma guztietatik etorri ohi ziren Salomonen mintzaldi jakintsuak entzutera.

Para oir la sabidur?a de Salom?n ven?an de todos los pueblos y de parte de todos los reyes de los pa?ses adonde hab?a llegado la fama de su sabidur?a.

Il venait des gens de tous les peuples pour entendre la sagesse de Salomon, de la part de tous les rois de la terre qui avaient entendu parler de sa sagesse.

And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon.

Tiroko errege Hiram-ek, aitaren ondorengo errege Salomon gantzutu zutela jakitean, bere zerbitzariak bidali zizkion; Hiram bizitza osoan Daviden adiskide izana zen.

Now Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon, because he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram had always loved David.

Then Solomon sent to Hiram, saying:

Tu sais que David, mon p?re, n'a pas pu b?tir une maison ? l'?ternel, son Dieu, ? cause des guerres dont ses ennemis l'ont envelopp? jusqu'? ce que l'?ternel les e?t mis sous la plante de ses pieds.

You know how my father David could not build a house for the name of the LORD his God because of the wars which were fought against him on every side, until the LORD put [his foes] under the soles of his feet.

Orain, aldiz, Jainko Jaunak lasaitasuna eman dit inguru guztian; ez dut etsairik, ez arazo larririk.

Ahora Jehov?, mi Dios, me ha dado paz por todas partes, pues no hay adversarios ni males que temer.

But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side; [there is] neither adversary nor evil occurrence.

And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to my father David, saying, "Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name."

Agindu ezazu, beraz, ebaki dezatela niretzat Libanoko zedro-sail bat. Nire morroiek zureekin batera jardungo dute, eta ordainduko dizut zeure morroientzat eskatzen didazun lansaria. Badakizu gure artean ez dela inor sidondarrak bezain trebe zuhaitz botatzen".

Manda, pues, ahora, que me corten cedros del L?bano; mis siervos estar?n con los tuyos y yo te dar? por tus siervos el salario que t? digas, porque sabes bien que ninguno hay entre nosotros que sepa labrar la madera como los sidonios".

Ordonne maintenant que l'on coupe pour moi des c?dres du Liban. Mes serviteurs seront avec les tiens, et je te paierai le salaire de tes serviteurs tel que tu l'auras fix?; car tu sais qu'il n'y a personne parmi nous qui s'entende ? couper les bois comme les Sidoniens.

Now therefore, command that they cut down cedars for me from Lebanon; and my servants will be with your servants, and I will pay you wages for your servants according to whatever you say. For you know [there is] none among us who has skill to cut timber like the Sidonians.

Salomonen eskari hau hartzean, Hiram biziki poztu zen eta esan zuen: "Bedeinkatua Jauna, Davidi halako seme jakintsua eman diolako, herri ugari hori goberna dezan".

Cuando Hiram oy? las palabras de Salom?n, se alegr? mucho y dijo: "Bendito sea hoy Jehov?, que dio un hijo sabio a David como gobernante de este pueblo tan grande".

Lorsqu'il entendit les paroles de Salomon, Hiram eut une grande joie, et il dit: B?ni soit aujourd'hui l'?ternel, qui a donn? ? David un fils sage pour chef de ce grand peuple !

So it was, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly and said, Blessed [be] the LORD this day, for He has given David a wise son over this great people!

Then Hiram sent to Solomon, saying: I have considered [the message] which you sent me, [and] I will do all you desire concerning the cedar and cypress logs.

My servants shall bring [them] down from Lebanon to the sea; I will float them in rafts by sea to the place you indicate to me, and will have them broken apart there; then you can take [them] away. And you shall fulfill my desire by giving food for my household.

Then Hiram gave Solomon cedar and cypress logs [according to] all his desire.

mientras Salom?n le daba a Hiram veinte mil coros de trigo y veinte coros de aceite puro para el sustento de su familia. Esto entregaba Salom?n a Hiram cada a?o.

Et Salomon donna ? Hiram vingt mille cors de froment pour l'entretien de sa maison et vingt cors d'huile d'olives concass?es; c'est ce que Salomon donna chaque ann?e ? Hiram.

And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand kors of wheat [as] food for his household, and twenty kors of pressed oil. Thus Solomon gave to Hiram year by year.

Hitz emaniko jakinduriaz bete zuen Jaunak Salomon. Honen eta Hiramen artean bakea izan zen eta, gainera, ituna egin zuten biek.

So the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as He had promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty together.

El rey Salom?n decret? una leva en todo Israel, la cual ascendi? a treinta mil hombres,

Then King Solomon raised up a labor force out of all Israel; and the labor force was thirty thousand men.

Il les envoya au Liban, dix mille par mois alternativement; ils ?taient un mois au Liban, et deux mois chez eux. Adoniram ?tait pr?pos? sur les hommes de corv?e.

And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month in shifts: they were one month in Lebanon [and] two months at home; Adoniram [was] in charge of the labor force.

Salomonek hirurogeita hamar mila zamaketari zituen eta laurogei mila hargin mendian.

Salomon avait encore soixante-dix mille hommes qui portaient les fardeaux et quatre-vingt mille qui taillaient les pierres dans la montagne,

Solomon had seventy thousand who carried burdens, and eighty thousand who quarried [stone] in the mountains,
