When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the LORD, [saying:] "For [He is] good, For His mercy [endures] forever."

Erregeak, herri osoarekin, sakrifizioak eskaini zizkion Jaunari.

Entonces el rey y todo el pueblo sacrificaron v?ctimas delante de Jehov?.

Le roi et tout le peuple offrirent des sacrifices devant l'?ternel.

Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.

Le roi Salomon immola vingt -deux mille boeufs et cent vingt mille brebis. Ainsi le roi et tout le peuple firent la d?dicace de la maison de Dieu.

King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

And the priests attended to their services; the Levites also with instruments of the music of the LORD, which King David had made to praise the LORD, saying, "For His mercy [endures] forever," whenever David offered praise by their ministry. The priests sounded trumpets opposite them, while all Israel stood.

Furthermore Solomon consecrated the middle of the court that [was] in front of the house of the LORD; for there he offered burnt offerings and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, and the fat.

At that time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt.

And on the eighth day they held a sacred assembly, for they observed the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the good that the LORD had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the LORD and in his own house.

Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.

"When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,

si mon peuple sur qui est invoqu? mon nom s'humilie, prie, et cherche ma face, et s'il se d?tourne de ses mauvaises voies, -je l'exaucerai des cieux, je lui pardonnerai son p?ch?, et je gu?rirai son pays.

"if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Aurrerantzean onez ikusiko eta entzungo dut toki honetan eginiko otoitza.

Mis ojos estar?n abiertos, y mis o?dos atentos, a la oraci?n que se haga en este lugar;

Mes yeux seront ouverts d?sormais, et mes oreilles seront attentives ? la pri?re faite en ce lieu.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer [made] in this place.

Izan ere, tenplu hau hautatu eta sagaratu dut, betierean nire bizileku izan dadin. Hemen izanen ditut beti neure begi-bihotzak.

pues ahora he elegido y santificado esta Casa, para que est? en ella mi nombre para siempre; y mis ojos y mi coraz?n estar?n ah? para siempre.

Maintenant, je choisis et je sanctifie cette maison pour que mon nom y r?side ? jamais, et j'aurai toujours l? mes yeux et mon coeur.

"For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

"As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My judgments,

"then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, 'You shall not fail [to have] a man as ruler in Israel.'

Mais si vous vous d?tournez, si vous abandonnez mes lois et mes commandements que je vous ai prescrits, et si vous allez servir d'autres dieux et vous prosterner devant eux,

" But if you turn away and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and worship them,

"then I will uproot them from My land which I have given them; and this house which I have sanctified for My name I will cast out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

"And [as for] this house, which is exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, 'Why has the LORD done thus to this land and this house?'

"Then they will answer, 'Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore He has brought all this calamity on them.' "

Hogei urte behar izan zituen Salomonek Jaunaren etxea eta bere jauregia eraikitzeko.

It came to pass at the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the house of the LORD and his own house,

that the cities which Hiram had given to Solomon, Solomon built them; and he settled the children of Israel there.

He built Upper Beth Horon and Lower Beth Horon, fortified cities [with] walls, gates, and bars,

Baalath, et toutes les villes servant de magasins et lui appartenant, toutes les villes pour les chars, les villes pour la cavalerie, et tout ce qu'il plut ? Salomon de b?tir ? J?rusalem, au Liban, et dans tout le pays dont il ?tait le souverain.

also Baalath and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities and the cities of the cavalry, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

Israeldar ez ziren hitita, amortar, periztar, hibiar eta jebustarren artetik bizirik gelditu zirenak,

A todo el pueblo que hab?a quedado de los heteos, amorreos, ferezeos, heveos y jebuseos, que no eran de Israel,

Tout le peuple qui ?tait rest? des H?thiens, des Amor?ens, des Ph?r?ziens, des H?viens et des J?busiens, ne faisant point partie d'Isra?l,

All the people [who were] left of the Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, who [were] not of Israel --

leurs descendants qui ?taient rest?s apr?s eux dans le pays et que les enfants d'Isra?l n'avaient pas d?truits, Salomon les leva comme gens de corv?e, ce qu'ils ont ?t? jusqu'? ce jour.

that is, their descendants who were left in the land after them, whom the children of Israel did not destroy -- from these Solomon raised forced labor, as it is to this day.

But Solomon did not make the children of Israel servants for his work. Some [were] men of war, captains of his officers, captains of his chariots, and his cavalry.

And others [were] chiefs of the officials of King Solomon: two hundred and fifty, who ruled over the people.

Now Solomon brought the daughter of Pharaoh up from the City of David to the house he had built for her, for he said, "My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because [the places] to which the ark of the LORD has come are holy."

Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD which he had built before the vestibule,

according to the daily rate, offering according to the commandment of Moses, for the Sabbaths, the New Moons, and the three appointed yearly feasts -- the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles.

Il ?tablit dans leurs fonctions, telles que les avait r?gl?es David, son p?re, les classes des sacrificateurs selon leur office, les L?vites selon leur charge, consistant ? c?l?brer l'?ternel et ? faire jour par jour le service en pr?sence des sacrificateurs, et les portiers distribu?s ? chaque porte d'apr?s leurs classes; car ainsi l'avait ordonn? David, homme de Dieu.

And, according to the order of David his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, the Levites for their duties (to praise and serve before the priests) as the duty of each day required, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at each gate; for so David the man of God had commanded.

David erregeak apaizei eta lebitarrei buruz emaniko agindu guztiak bete zituzten denek, bai eta altxorrei buruzkoak ere.

They did not depart from the command of the king to the priests and Levites concerning any matter or concerning the treasuries.

Now all the work of Solomon was well-ordered from the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was completed.

And Hiram sent him ships by the hand of his servants, and servants who knew the sea. They went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and acquired four hundred and fifty talents of gold from there, and brought it to King Solomon.

Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with hard questions, [having] a very great retinue, camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart.

And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,

the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit in her.

Then she said to the king: "[It was] a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.

Ez nuen sinesten, harik eta neu etorri eta neure begiz ikusi dudan arte. Alafede! Erdia ere ez zidaten esan zure jakinduriaren handiaz! Aditua nuena baino askoz handiagoa da zure ospea.

pero yo no cre?a las palabras de ellos, hasta que he venido, y mis ojos han visto. En realidad, ni aun la mitad de la grandeza de tu sabidur?a me hab?a sido dicha, pues t? superas la fama que yo hab?a o?do.

Je n'avais pas cru ? ces propos tant que je n'?tais pas venue et que je n'avais pas vu de mes yeux. Or voil? qu'on ne m'avait pas r?v?l? la moiti? de l'ampleur de ta sagesse! Tu surpasses la r?putation dont j'avais entendu parler.

"However I did not believe their words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You exceed the fame of which I heard.

Dohatsua zure jendea, dohatsuak zure jakinduria entzunez beti zure aurrean dauden zerbitzariak!

Bienaventurados tus hombres y dichosos estos siervos tuyos que est?n siempre delante de ti y oyen tu sabidur?a.

Heureux tes gens, heureux tes serviteurs, qui sont continuellement devant toi et qui entendent ta sagesse !

"Happy [are] your men and happy [are] these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom!

Bedeinkatua Jauna, zure Jainkoa, bere errege-aulkian ezarri nahi izan baitzaitu bera zerbitza dezazun! Betierean iraunaraziko du zure Jainkoak Israel, maite duelako, eta zu egin zaitu errege, zuzenbidez eta zuzentasunez goberna dezazun".

Bendito sea Jehov?, tu Dios, el cual se ha complacido en ti, coloc?ndote sobre su trono como rey para Jehov?, tu Dios; por cuanto tu Dios am? a Israel, para afirmarlo perpetuamente, por eso te ha puesto como rey sobre ellos, para que hagas juicio y justicia".

B?ni soit l'?ternel, ton Dieu, qui t'a accord? la faveur de te placer sur son tr?ne comme roi pour l'?ternel, ton Dieu ! C'est parce que ton Dieu aime Isra?l et veut le faire subsister ? toujours, qu'il t'a ?tabli roi sur lui pour que tu fasses droit et justice.

"Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, setting you on His throne [to be] king for the LORD your God! Because your God has loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness."

And she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, spices in great abundance, and precious stones; there never were any spices such as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

And the king made walkways [of] the algum wood for the house of the LORD and for the king's house, also harps and stringed instruments for singers; and there were none such [as these] seen before in the land of Judah.

Salomon erregeak ere Sabako erreginak nahi izan eta eskatu zion guztia eman zion, Sabakoak Salomoni erregalatua ziona baino gehiago. Ondoren, erregina bere herrialdera itzuli zen bere zerbitzariekin.

Now King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all she desired, whatever she asked, [much more] than she had brought to the king. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.

Urte oroz Salomoni hogeita bi mila kilo inguru urre etorri ohi zitzaion,

El peso del oro que recib?a Salom?n cada a?o, era seiscientos sesenta y seis talentos de oro,

Le poids de l'or qui arrivait chaque ann?e ? Salomon ?tait de six cent soixante -six talents d'or,

The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
