On Friday afternoon (15th of April, from 14:30-16:30) we will organize a “fake festival” where each participant will have to assume a role and negotiate with the rest of players (filmmakers, producers, programmers, etc.)
A lot of fun which will be followed by “poteo” in Bilbao to go on with film discussions and practice your English.

WHAT’S A ROLE PLAY?
A role play is a game in which you behave like you were somebody else.
You will be assigned a role, some information and your goals during the festival (for example, publicizing your film) and from then on you have to talk and negotiate with the other players to get your goal.
WHICH ROLE CAN I PLAY?
You can choose between the different roles of festivals participants:
Festival director, festival producer, jury member, filmmakers, producers, actors, film critics, journalists, audience, volunteers, photographers, etc.
WHICH LEVEL OF ENGLISH SHOULD I HAVE?
Participants have different levels of English, and your role will be adapted to your level.
Some useful sentences will be provided to facilitate negotiations.
