Generative Artificial Intelligence is becoming increasingly present in students’ learning processes, and it is important to understand both the pedagogical possibilities and the limitations of these tools. The use of AI should foster critical thinking, intellectual autonomy, and responsible engagement to ensure meaningful and transparent learning. Below are recommended uses and practices to avoid.

Searching for information and supplementary teaching materials.
- Supporting the generation of ideas that can serve as a starting point for academic work.
- Aiding in the comprehension and organization of information, including the creation of summaries, concept maps, and similar resources.
- Editing and proofreading written texts.
- Self-assessing progress through the generation of exercises and exam questions to evaluate the level of competency acquisition.
- Developing linguistic and language skills.
❌ Practices to avoid
- Presenting content generated by generative AI as your own.
- Using generative AI–produced content in assignments without acknowledging its use.
- Using generative AI to complete exam tasks or continuous assessment activities when its use is explicitly prohibited.
