In May 2014, the UPV/EHU updated our department’s website. We took this opportunity to phase out our old web application for alumni networking and transition to social media platforms, which had already become the standard for staying connected.
We decided to launch a LinkedIn group and expand our original scope. Rather than limiting it to former students, we opened the community to anyone connected to the department—including students from all degree programs (undergraduate, engineering, and master’s), as well as faculty and other associates.
