nireEHU Movility and stays
Our programme promotes doing joint doctoral degrees, the movility of doctoral students, as well the collaboration regarding the doctorate in general, thanks to an agreement signed with the three institutions (CNRS, Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour y Université Bordeaux-Montaigne) that participate in the research laboratory IKER - Centre de recherche sur la langue et les textes basques, located in Bayonne, the French Basque Country. Through the Erasmus+ programme, doctoral students may do stays of three months in the above mentioned universities or at Konstanz Universität, with whom the programme has signed another agreement. These stays at foreign research institutions allow the doctoral candidate to obtain the international thesis mention. Besides, every year the research laboratory IKER and our programme jointly organize a research seminar so that doctoral candidates on either side of the border may share their investigations and findings.
