The doctoral programme in Pharmacology is of an eminently experimental nature. A high proportion of the training work is undertaken through active presence in pre-clinical or clinical research groups' experimental units and labs. This experimental activity entails designing and verifying the working hypotheses of the projects on which the research groups that have taken in doctoral students are working. These activities take place at the University, at bio-health institutes and interested companies. The training design aims to use verified standards to achieve levels of theoretical and practical education in line with international expectations of a person with a doctorate in Pharmacology.
