Doctoral students are recommended to carry out a predoctoral stay in one of the advanced centres, whether national or international, that work within the scope of Cognitive Neuroscience. Doctoral students should be exposed to a wide variety of ideas, theoretical contexts, techniques and ways of functioning of other laboratories. The stay should last at least one month (except for those students who wish to obtain the European doctoral degree). The host centre will be agreed with the student’s thesis supervisor(s). In all applications, the role of the supervisor and the thesis director will be fundamental for guiding the students, who will be provided with information on scholarships or financial aid for mobility. In general, the programme will promote stays in foreign research centres as well as the participation of foreign experts in thesis panels and follow-up commissions.
