Graduate in Industrial Engineering (1997), Master in Thermal Engineering (2005) and PhD in Feminist and Gender Studies (2022) by the UPV/EHU. Since 1998 she has been a lecturer in the Department of Energy Engineering, Thermal Engines and Machines section, at the School of Engineering of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Deputy Director of Academic Organization from 2013 to 2018 and currently Deputy Director of Quality and Environment.



She has worked in research projects in the area of Building Energy Efficiency and in the dynamic behavior of building materials.



Currently, she is researching on the interrelationship of the gender system in industrial engineering, and on the incorporation of social competences in undergraduate studies in the field of engineering.



She is the author of several articles and contributions to conferences in the line of gender research and co-author of articles in the line of teaching innovation in engineering degrees.
