Description and Contextualization of the SubjectToggle Navigation

The main aims of this subject is to improve the social skills of the students as: competent communication, leadership, research and gender equality, motivation, creativity, adaptability, emotional intelligence and other that will promote self- knowledge and personal and professional development.



The objective of this subject is training in skills and values that facilitates the insertion of the student in the working world and that provides them resources to promote the leadership of their personal and professional life



The students will work activities to improve their self-knowledge, discovering what skills, knowledge and attitudes improve their personal development and their professional and social effectiveness.



These skills will be the key to success in their studies and in their future professional life.



Once the IKDi3, G3AI (Gizarte Gaitasunak eta Generoa Automobilgintzako Ingeniaritzan) project has been implemented, the improvements detected continue to be applied to contribute to the progress of the E-A process, working on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) 5 and 10; as well as, introducing, a global vision of sustainability that serves as a basis for the degree in general, and the elaboration of the state of the art required in the contents of the subject.

COMPETENCES:

Ability to work in a group, autonomously and efficiently, applying basic communication skills and strategies. Ability to develop personal, instrumental and systemic skills necessary in the automotive industry.

Learning Outcomes:

TL07. Recognizes and identifies the roles of each of the team members; especially, he knows the ins and outs of leadership.

TL08. Accepts the different points of view of team members. Defines shared goals by applying different decision-making techniques and uses the available recording tools.

TL09.Knows the dynamics of conflicts and is able to use tools, such as Non-violent Communication, to try to transform them.

The subject will be developed by mean of active methodologies based on cooperative learning:

This subject contemplates a system of continuous evaluation.



Students can request a final evaluation, as long as they submit this request in writing. to the professor responsible for the subject, before finish the teaching period.



Once the resignation document has been received, both the student and the responsible professor must sign the document "Renunciation of the continuous assessment of the subject Social Skills and Communication and Tools of Research in Engineering".



In the event that a face-to-face assessment of the subject cannot be carried out, the pertinent changes will be made to carry out an on-line evaluation by using the existing tools at the UPV / EHU. The characteristics of this online assessment will be published in the student guides and on eGela.

Extraordinary Call: Orientations and DisclaimerToggle Navigation

The extraordinary evaluation should be made exclusively through the final evaluation system, as set by the regulations for the evaluation of students, but in the case that the student has opted for continuous evaluation they will contemplate the positive results obtained during the course.
