The subject " Introduction to Internship " is part of the Dual Itinerary, which is composed by the following subjects: I¿ntroduction to Internship¿, ¿Internship I ¿, ¿Internship II¿, ¿¿Internship II¿ and the Bachelor¿s Thesis.
These aforementioned subjects are carried out in a Biomedical Engineering-related collaborating entity or company. A total of 5 internship periods have to be completed in this itinerary, with 150, 300, 300, 450 and 300 hours, respectively. The training activities to be carried out will be those included in a Collaboration Agreement for Dual Training agreed with the collaborating entity, which will also include the completion of the Bachelor¿s Thesis.
The objective of this subject is the practical application of the knowledge, skills and competences acquired in the development of the degree within companies whose activity is related to Biomedical Engineering. Therefore, the subject involves the immersion of the student in the business world, in order to improve their comprehensive training and their employability.

El objetivo principal de esta primera asignatura del itinerario dual o en alternancia en la empresa o entidad colaboradora (150h) es que el estudiante establezca un primer contacto con la empresa que va a llevar a cabo su experiencia formativa dual. Esto permitirá que el estudiante conozca las particularidades de la empresa, y los enmarque en los conocimientos que se le han impartido en la titulación, de modo que profundice en la formación relativa a las empresas del área de la Ingeniería Biomédica y sus actividades.
