The main goal of this course is to provide basic understanding of how human organs and systems work, studying their regulation and interrelation. This will lead to understand how the human body adapts to changes, both internal and environmental. This course will help students understand the meaning and importance of homeostasis, acknowledging the functions of human systems in the healthy state. They will also learn the basics of different physiological exploratory techniques, acquiring knowledge on interpreting the obtained results.
