Born in Bilbao, Daniel García lectures since 2001 at the University of the Basque Country, where he has taught on Writing, Press Design, Media Company, Infographics and, currently, The Technology of Journalism.



He was graduated both in 'Journalism' and 'Advertising and Public Communication' at the public University of the Basque Country, as well as graduated in 'Law' at the catholic University of Deusto. During those years he has also studied at the British University of Strathclyde (Glasgow), where he attended a full year course as Law student.



In January 2012 he finished his PhD on the development of the information graphics in the Spanish newspapers, focused on the case of El Correo, where he also worked as graphic artist and data visualization.



He currently also teaches other lecturers about the use of Moodle and Learning Technologies at the teaching innovation departments of the University of the Basque Country.
