Doctor in Audiovisual Communication (University of the Basque Country, 2012).

He teaches at the Department of Journalism II and is a member of the MAC research group (Mutaciones del Audiovisual Contemporáneo).



Cinema and press are the main axes of his research work.

He has published academic articles in journals such as Uztaro, Jakin, Trípodos or Comunicar.



Among his publications, the following stand out: Cortometrajes de Kimuak. Semillas del cine vasco (Comunicación Social, 2014) -co-written with Ainhoa Fernández de Arroyabe and Nekane E. Zubiaur- and Krzysztof Kieslowski (Filmoteca Vasca, 2015).



In the field of communication, he worked as a journalist in several media.

He has contributed to Berria, Euskadi Irratia and ETB.
